Lynx Cat

Lynx cat is more look like a lion either a normal cat. This can have bigger body and more as big as dog. The lynx, Felis lynx, is a small member of the cat family, felidae. It weight up to 18 kg (40 lb), measures 1.1 m (3.5 ft) in lenght and stands about 61 cm (24 in) high at shoulder. It has black ear tufts and a stumpy tail. The lynx has a tawny or grayish brown coat with darker spots and stripes. Its winter coat, much prized by furriers, is dense, silky, and long. The lynx lives in forested areas of Europe, Asia, and northern North America. It usually hunts at night, killing foxes, rabbits, rodents, deer, and some domestic animals. It is a good climber and swimmer.


The Spanish lynx, a subspecies of the European lynx is distinguished by its prominent spots. The lynx's large, padded paws and long leg enable it to move easily in snow and ice.
