Normal Cats Behavior

What look like of normal cat behavior?
A normal cat have wild behavior or we say as wild cats as like a cat that live on the jungle. The general cats are not solitary creature; they can create an intense social bonds with one another and also with humans. Their social experiences particularly between the cat ages of 3 to 9 weeks are a critical development of normal behavior to be adult cat.

Kitten begins to learn of normal social behavior from their mother and the intimate to human start from 2-3 weeks of age. These kittens learn by observing, imitating and experimenting. They are begin to play and interact with one another and their mother give learn to her cat child.

If their mother too intimate with human, kitten also will become a domestic cat that don’t have fully their normal cat behavior as they live in this nature, this cat dependent to the human existence. If little cat don’t intimate with a man not accustomed to, they will naturally learn how to sustain their life not depend to human being.

Normal kitten will learn of these:
  • Normal play is a major part of developing proper social skills.
  • Hunting behavior is unrelated to hunger and even well fed cats can hunt. Play and hunting are closely linked activities and most play involves a toy that your cat thinks of as prey.
  • Teeth chattering is a behavior seen in cats that are sitting still and staring at some type of prey that they are unable to reach.
  • Catnip can produce unique behavior in some cats. Inhaling aroma or ingesting the plant may produce nervous system signs such as sleepiness, excitement, rolling, euphoria, and in some cats, aggression.
  • Vocal are varied in cats, from hissing and spitting in anger, to soft purring of the contented cat, cats always seem to have something to say.
  • Grooming is another behavior which is normal for cats. Grooming another cat in the house is also normal behavior.
